# DOCUMENT 03: Product Terms of Use

Effective Date: 1 June 2025

Applies To: Registered subscribers to Yugality's SaaS products

1. Scope and Agreement

These Product Terms of Use ('Product Terms') govern your access to and use of Yugality's SaaS products including all AI-powered legal tools, features, and integrations (collectively, the 'Product'). These Product Terms supplement and are to be read in conjunction with Yugality's Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict, these Product Terms shall prevail with respect to the Product.

2. Account and Subscription

Each subscription licence is personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials between multiple individuals is prohibited.
You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. Promptly notify Yugality of any unauthorised access at support@yugality.com.
Yugality offers monthly and annual subscription plans as detailed on the pricing page. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy (Document 09).

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Product solely for lawful professional legal work, including legal research, document review, contract drafting, litigation preparation, and regulatory compliance work. The Product may not be used for any purpose that violates applicable law or professional ethics rules.

4. AI Output — Critical Limitations

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

All AI-generated outputs are assistive in nature and must be reviewed and verified by a qualified legal professional before use or reliance in any professional, judicial, or regulatory context.
Yugality's AI may produce inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information ('hallucinations'). Yugality makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any AI output.
AI outputs do not constitute legal advice. Yugality is not a law firm and does not provide legal services as defined under the Advocates Act, 1961.
You assume full professional responsibility for any use made of AI outputs, including filing documents or advising clients based on AI-generated content.

5. Professional Conduct Compliance

Use of the Product must comply with the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975 and any applicable State Bar Council rules governing professional conduct, advertising, and use of technology in legal practice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Product does not violate professional ethics obligations.

6. Data and Confidentiality

Documents you upload to the Product are processed for the sole purpose of delivering the requested service. See Product Privacy Policy (Document 04) and Data Processing Agreement (Document 05) for details.
You represent that you have obtained all necessary authorisations — including client consent where required — to upload any documents to the platform.
You acknowledge that AI queries may be logged for quality assurance and error correction purposes in anonymised form.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Using the Product to fabricate case law, statutes, or legal authorities that do not exist.
Submitting prompts designed to extract confidential information from other users.
Using automated scripts or bots to access the Product in excess of normal human usage patterns.
Reselling or white-labelling access to the Product without written authorisation from Yugality.

8. Suspension and Termination

Yugality may suspend or terminate your account immediately upon:

(a) breach of these Product Terms;
(b) non-payment of subscription fees;
(c) use of the Product in a manner that poses legal, regulatory, or reputational risk to Yugality.

Upon termination, your right to access the Product ceases immediately. Data retrieval requests must be made within 30 days of termination.

9. Updates and Changes to Product

Yugality may modify, add, or remove features from the Product at any time. Material changes affecting core functionality will be communicated via email with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

10. Feedback and Suggestions

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to Yugality regarding the Product may be used by Yugality without restriction or compensation to you. Such feedback does not create any intellectual property rights in the Product for you.
